Why Are We Doing This?
There are two reasons for running this competition.
Firstly, there is obviously a strong desire from members who would like to continue playing.
Secondly, we have a number of Royals Volleyball Club members who will be representing the Canberra Super HEAT. These players “pay to play”, and Royals would like to support them.
The competition will be run and officiated by RVC HEAT players, helping them to raise funds to subsidise their playing fees.
What Else?
The formats we are running in this competition have been based solely on who registered and how we could create a competition that is safe, fun, competitive and, hopefully, involves close matches.
We are hoping that playing with new people will expand your friendship base, extend your community and enhance your skills.
