Volleyball ACT Competition outline

 

Royals Volleyball Club compete within Volleyball ACT (VACT) Competitions and Leagues. Below is a brief outline of the levels of competition. You can find out more detailed information on the VACT website.

Capital Volleyball League (CVL) is VACT's Premier indoor volleyball competition. Games are played on Sundays for both Men and Women (Premier and Reserve grade). The CVL season runs from May through to August.

Open League (Autumn season runs April to June, and Spring season runs July to October). 
VACT's second tier competition. This is a growing league with a strong social and community base. Open League games are held on Monday evenings for Men and Tuesday evenings for Women. There are two Open League seasons held throughout the year with the first season commencing in April and the second in July.

Recreational League (Seasons align with Open League)
The perfect competition for social players. Played on Thursday evenings with mixed teams. There are two Recreational League seasons held throughout the year. The first commencing in April and the second in July.

Beach Volleyball  is run directly through VACT. You can join VACT competitions as a pair, mixed fours or mixed sixes team. Games are played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and the season generally runs across the Summer months finishing in March just prior to the start of the Open and Recreational League seasons.
